New Mod/Tester Invitations Sent on Artix Entertainment

Last month, we did an open call looking for community members interested in testing or moderating AQWorlds. Email invitations just went out to the first "class" heading to AdventureGuide Academy.

The AG Academy is a new initiative we're for players who apply to help as mods / testers. We want to ensure we're matching potential team members with the right role, that they're a good fit, and that we're communicating expectations, challenges, + rewards as best we can.

TWe have two goals for round two candidates:

Ensure applicants gain a thorough understanding of the expectations, roles, and benefits of helping
Give the team leads a chance to get to know them over time, evaluate their game knowledge / communication / testing skills, etc

Alongside a group of their fellow candidates, they'll how the Bugs / QA team tests for issues, reviews reports, and helps AQW's developers. Over the course of several weeks, they'll learn about the moderator and tester teams, ask any questions they might have, and get a better feel for what it would be like to be a member of the team... and if helping is something they're still interested in.

We want to make sure that we're setting up potential team members to succeed so that they can help us make the best possible games and community experiences for everyone

At the end of the AG Academy, the team leads will make the final selection of candidates and which team they'd be best suited for. Any applicants who aren't asked to join the team will get several gifts from the team to show our appreciation for their interest, time, and effort they put in.
