Wow what a year – and what a contest! After a festive season of rolling pins, piping bags, and confectionary-fueled creativity, we’re thrilled to announce the winners of the 2024 Creative Cookie Contest. These talented bakers turned their ovens into magical portals and whipped up Artix Entertainment-themed treats that left us craving for more!
Prizes will be awarded over the next couple of days, but I just couldn't wait any longer to announce our wonderful winners!! 🎁
WOW! Fellow AQW and AQ3D player Silariyas created this festive Frostval moglin cake! It looks marvelous and delicious – and I have never seen Zorbak happier, either! And his lil toothpick skull staff? Chef kiss! NTM, did you notice what’s written on those M&Ms? Now that’s creativity to the (chocolate) core! For such spectacular work, we are awarding Silariyas with 10,000 Artix Points and the Gingerbread Cookie Sword* in both AQWorlds and AQ3D!

These. Are. Incredible!! It’s hard to choose which one looks more delicious, but both entries wowed the judges and tied for second place! Since a tie-breaker taste-test is out of the question, why not give BOTH the 2nd place prize winnings? Winning! We are awarding Vatriaand Jase 5,000 Artix Points each and the Gingerbread Cookie Sword*! Amazing job, Jase and Vatria!!

I do not gnome how they did it, but HeyKirby crafted this adorably delicious Doddery gnome! Who knew gnomes were stuffed with colorful cake and frosting? Gives those Keebler Elves a run for their money >:D

Fish and ice cream-flavored cupcakes, anyone? 👀 Techno knows what Twig likes best, and created these pull-apart cupcakes that would surely satisfy any sweet tooth (so long as they’re confetti cake flavored, which I sincerely hope they are)!

What a doggone good display of creativity! An 8-Bit 160-Bite Daimyo from Dungeons & Doomknights is unlike ANYTHING any of us have seen in any contest. Even the story Hakuinshared from start to finish (including an epilogue!) on Discord is an artform in its own right, too. And! Because Hakuin hails from many games – known as Hakuin in AQW, Magick in AQ3D, True Mortal in EpicDuel, Fujin Shinnyo in AQ, and Gnosis in DF – they are receiving the Gingerbread Cookie Sword* in each game!
Seriously, the creativity here is absolutely astounding! Since you all amazed us with your incredible confectionary creations, we wanted to do something extra special for our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place AQW winners. Our AQW artists / bakers / swordsmithing makers whipped up something extraordinary for YOU! Behold:
The Enchanted Holiday Cookie Blade ~and~ Cookie Pet!
The Enchanted Holiday Cookie Blade is the Gingerbread Cookie Sword that’s been baked with Color-Customizable sprinkles, perfect for our top AQW winners to show off their favorite color ~and~ flavor palates! And, to make things even sweeter, AQW winners will also receive the Enchanted Holiday Cookie Pet. For starters, it’s 100% fat-free 😋 But even better than that is when any player clicks that Cookie Pet, it opens a special shop featuring THREEexclusive items for ~everyone~ to enjoy!

While we wish we could award EVERYONE with a prize, it kind of defeats the point of a contest, huh? But! We still want to give our thanks – and 500 APs – to these players who tried their best to impress <3

Although some cakes might be as dry as cardboard… this takes things to a literal level! A cardboard sword topped with frosting puts a creative twist on the Gingerbread Cookie Sword. Not entirely edible, but absolutely creative! Here’s 500 Artix Points and a special shoutout on the DNs for MINGKY :D

We noticed a few entries showcased incredible creations that weren’t quite what we expected. While we specifically asked for your culinary creativity, it seems the rules might not have been explicit enough 🙈 Some contestants submitted desserts purchased from bakeries, putting quite a cunning spin on "creative!"
While these store-bought baked goods put an unfair advantage over the players who legitimately cooked up their own creations, we are creating a special “Cunning Creativity” category for these creations. Because, hey, creativity comes in all forms!
